How does sizing work and what measurements are most important?
Wag Theory sizes are categorized by a general indicator (small / medium / large) plus the coat length. There are three important measurements that ensure proper fit: length, neck, and chest. The chest has adjustable straps and typically fits a wide range of pups without issue, but the neck and length are what typically determines if the in stock jacket will work or if a custom dog coat would be preferable.
What are my options if the jacket doesn't fit? You have a couple options! Within 14 days, you can exchange your unworn/unused jacket for another jacket of equal value (within the same size tier), or receive store credit toward the purchase of a Custom coat or different priced item in the store. I. Am. Obsessed. I'd been searching for a waxed canvas rain jacket for awhile and wanted to buy from a small business owner. I couldn't find what I was looking for in the US before I found this! Jenny answered lots of questions and everything about the jacket is perfect. I can tell it's going to last a long time.
I really love that it has spots where you can clip to a harness in the front AND back - lots of jackets only have back harness clip openings if any. Great detail. Also there is reflective edging which isn't in- your-face, but still a great touch for rainy walks at dusk. And the adorable railroad stripe lining in the collar is incredible. I even loved that the packaging was fully recyclable. Definitely recommend!!
